Love You Today
Like a little shock that sends a jolt of pain.
Love you to death, I'll love you today.
Spacing the distance, finding the rights
In a life where the good doesn't overwrite the fights.
But when you're there they blur by and slide in the tide.
Rolling around amidst the sand, the dirt comes off
And reveals something not so bad.
The good, the good you bring.
Scotching it over with tape to keep
And removing the unpleasantness that at some time seeped.
So, yes in the end, it's about all that I have.
And all that I have'it's yours in the end.
