Limbo
Washing up on the shore of my imagination
Almost utterly dead, but fully alive
Ideas from a depraved generation
Like a rusted barrel pressed against my mind
I know what I believe, and I know it is right
But what happens if, in the end, I am wrong
Completely in vain would be my life-long fight
And ignorance alone would be my life's song
No matter my beliefs, I will always have doubts
No matter my doubts, there is one constant truth
And faith, it is something that if lived without
Will leave me no soil, no firmly-planted roots
A tree cannot flourish if it cannot stand
And what can stand without solid foundation
Faith does not mean that you always understand
But with it your fruit will last generations
