because now I know,
just how far I will never go.

because now I see,
how to oppose the monster you set me up to be.

because I would never let my temper flare,
like yours did, I would never dare.

because I'm the strongest I've been,
between you and me I'd always win.
Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!
Thank you for showing me,
the opposite person I should be.

This is totally and completely directed to my father, Karlo. It is a piece about pain, and there was a lot of sarcasm intended. I will not go into the specific reasons of this piece.

i really like this and its seems very close to your heart and feeled with sad emotion. I agree the sarcasm is obvious and it shapes the poem, good work! :)

I like how you formatted this poem with the "thank you's". The sarcasm was obvious, and yet it really helped strengthen the poem. Beautiful work!

Sarcasm is one of the best and I like this poem. I could relate and dedicate this to a lot of people.

Great poem!  I like the repetitive 'thank you'; it adds a certain rhythm.  Excellent work!
