Failure
I call you but you don’t answer.
I need you but you don’t care.
The only thing that stands between us is a fine line of thin air.
I walk toward you, but you turn around.
I speak to you, but you hear no sound.
The only thing I long for is to walk on your ground.
You hurt me, but I failed to hurt you back.
You turned around and caught me in the act.
I love you; you don’t love me back.
I have tried so hard, and for so long,
I had believed you when you said I was wrong.
But now I know, and you were right.
I am worthless in your sight.
I call you, but you don’t answer.
I need you, but you don’t care.
The only difference is now, when I turn around and you’re just not there.
