Control
I wish I could stay, but I have to go.
I wish it was day; the night moves too slow.
I wish it was May; hate the cold and snow.
I wish I could play, but I have to grow.
I wish a lot of things, I wish to break,
To break this nightmare, and finally wake.

This is a simple piece about how there are things in life that you can't control but wish you could. Life can be like a rapid river; the more you fight it, the more bruises you get; all you can do is relax, and let the stream take control of where it is taking you. At least that's what I used to think: to just give up and let fate guide you. But NO! You can always build a boat and steer your way through the different paths in the river. Take control, and live your life.
