Even though some might say smoking relives stress, tobacco use needs to be outlawed because it causes serious health issues and is a very costly habit.

It shouldn’t shock anyone that once a smoker stops; they will have a lot of extra cash. “With cigarettes costing anywhere from five to ten dollars a pack, a month of smoking can cost in the range of a couple hundred dollars depending on how much the smoker smokes.” With the extra money that the smoker would save, it could be turned into quality time with someone special to them. They would also have some money to spend on something they enjoy doing (ActiveBeat.com).

You might associate smoking with lung cancer, but cigarettes are also linked to increased risk of several other types of cancer. ”Studies say 40% of premature U.S fatalities are cancer related deaths. Cigarettes contain more than 4,000 chemical compounds and at least 400 toxic substances. Two substances that cause cancer are tar and carcinogen. On average, each cigarette shortens a smoker's life by around 11 minutes. Cardiovascular disease is the main cause of death due to smoking. Smokers are more likely to get cancer than non-smokers (ActiveBeat.com) (NetDoctor.com).”In some smokers opinion there are good things about smoking.
