Even after 60 years
One of the most outstanding blockbusters in the history of film production is series of "James Bond: Agent 007", because even after 60 years since its premiere it still manages to grab viewers' attention.
What is so special about it that the series always appear to be in a spotlight? Firstly, it is the fast moving and thrilling plot, because despite being a part of the same franchise, every movie contains unique missions for the main character and antagonists that make it almost impossible to fulfill the mission. In the most recent film ("No time to die") the mission is to find the scientist who has developed a bioweapon that is made of nanobots intending to infect the DNA. However, it is not a piece of cake, since there are many traitors who pretend to be loyal partners. Comparing to that, the first movie of the series ("Dr. No") had another hectic mission of finding the murderer of MI6 chief. That is how even after 60 years people are willing to watch the series.
Secondly, well-developed characters played by quality cast and very convincing performance will keep one on the edge of his seat. In "No time to die" James Bond is played by Daniel Craig, who is claimed to be the most suitable actor for this role, since he is able to show Bond's desire to ruthlessly murder anyone who stands on his way of reaching the truth. Also, he is shown to audience as someone who has suffered loss and would do anything to fulfill his mission regardless of personal cost. In "Dr. No", Bond also saves the innocent people from injustice and death, which make him admirable to viewers.
So, it is apparent that excellently chosen cast and well-developed plot made "Agent 007" series interesting to the watchers of different time periods.
