The House on Mango Street by Sandra Cisneros
The author of the book, "The House on Mango Street", is by Sandra Cisneros. It's a very good written book that I recommend you read. It comes with many dramatic and emotional stories and it can be sorta funny as well. Even the title gives you an idea of what the story is about. In the book, "The House on Mango Street", it covers a year in life of a twelve year old girl, named Esperanza. During the year, Esperanza and her family have moved into a house on Mango Street, which was a huge improvement than their previous apartment, but it wasnt what Esperanza expected it to be because it was run-down and small. Though throughout those years Esperanza gets to mature significantly both sexually and emotionally. The book also includes the stories of the neighborhood on Mango Street.

In my opinion, I really liked this book. I really liked the author's style and her creatives plots. The author also gives very good details about the characters personality traits and settings.
