The Crossover by Kwame Alexander
I never really liked reading or reading about someone's life. After I read the book The Crossover I realized that reading can be very entertaining and you just never want the story to stop going . Also I never thought I’d end up liking a book about basketball .
In The Crossover Josh,Jb and, their dad all love playing basketball it kinda helps keep them as a family because the boy bond through basketball .Then family kinda gets a little torn apart when a new member comes along and catches Jb’s eyes and has him locked in…
The authors style is really neat and will have your eyes fixed on the book 24/7 .You won’t be able to stop reading . The author draws you in more and more with all the details you can just close your eyes and visualize everything they say .
This book is written in the point of view of josh and it shows a lot of his emotions and you can just feel like he’s right there with u telling you everything
This book is definitely one of the most magnificent books i’ve ever read so far and I was really attracted to it i didn’t want to quit reading it ever.
There is a theme and it is kind of just like family is first before anything and don’t take them for granted because you never know what can happen and who’s gonna be there everyday and who’s not .
I strongly recommend this book to people who like basketball or just anything to deal with family, sports, friends or just a strong reader .
