The Crossover by Kwame Alexander
Kwame Alexander took realistic fiction to a new level with The Crossover a novel-in-verse. This story is about these two twin ballers Josh ( Filthy Mcnasty) and Jordan (JB) Bell Kids of Chuck “Da Man” Bell tell a story about Brotherhood and family.
Josh and jB that both dream of being like their favorite basketball player, Michael Jordan and Stephen Curry. The Crossover share the bonds between the two brothers and their dad and how basketball brings them together a bond unbreakable… maybe.
Kwame Alexander writing style make easy to understand this book will be leaving you wanting more, but Kwame Alexander didn’t leave us hanging because there’s a book like this Booked so turn that frown upside down.
The Crossover is writing in the point of view of Josh. As you read Josh will have the book glued to your hands your eyes will be going 100 mph once this book is in your hand.
The Crossover has been writing so amazing that it has won the Newbery medal and Coretta Scott King Award of honor.
