Beautiful Creatures by Kami Garcia and Margaret Stohl
From the beginning to the end of Beautiful Creatures, I couldn't put it down. I liked how it was a romance and still somewhat historical fiction. My favorite genre is historical fiction, so I wasn't quite sure this was a book for me. After only a few pages, I instantly fell in love with the book! Beautiful Creatures is full of suspense, romance, and all the right characters! It first starts out with Ethan waking up from his dream about a beautiful girl. Once he goes to school, he finds that the new girl is the girl in his dreams and he instantly feels a connection between them. The new girl (Lena) is different and Ethan and Lena soon find out how the other people in their tiny town feel like she doesn't belong there. This story is about two unlike people falling in love and trying to find a way to stay together.
