You never know if something is going to happen in the world, like what happened in Memory Boy. Memory Boy is a compelling book about a volcano erupting and the U.S going into extreme chaos. The book has action all throughout the book but there is still a good plot behind it. Here’s a little bit about the book.

Memory Boy is about, a volcano erupts and Miles and his family go retreat to their cabin in the woods where they think they are safe,not before there are looters on their way and motorcycle groups who are trying to rob and kill them. Memory Boy is in Minnesota, the time period is the present.


You can never predict what is going to happen in this book,it is always leaving you guessing. There is a mix of adventure,action,and suspense.The family has to build a contraption that can not run on fuel to travel far distances.The book ends at a spot that I would've never guessed.I think that the book could of gone on a little bit longer but it summed up the book good at the end.

If you are 10 years or older this book would be good for you,the book is 230 pages long but the read is worth it.Will Miles and his family be able to survive or will they die out of the world like many of the other people. Try Memory Boy and get ready for an exciting read!
