This book is so great you’ll want to stay up all night just to finish it. Young Bruno has a perfect life In Berlin, with an amazing house and great friends. But one day that all changes when his family suddenly decides to move to Auschwitch for his father’s job. Bruno’s new house turns out to be along the border of a German concentration camp controlled by the Nazis. Although Bruno wants to explore the area, Bruno’s father tells him to stay away from the camp. But, in the end his curiosity gets the best of him and he ends up face to face with a strange young boy on the other side of the fence. The boy tells Bruno that his father has been missing for some time and Bruno sets out on a mission to help him find his father. The only problem is the only way he can help him is to become one of them.

All in all, this is a great book perfect for anyone who is interested in history especially during World War 2. The characters in the story are also great, for example, Bruno is a deep character showing the innocence of a child not truly knowing what is going on. The ending of the story is one that can’t be missed and be sure to catch you by surprise. I highly recommend this book to anybody who is interested.
