Peak book review/summary
In Peak, by Roland Smith, Peak, a fourteen- year old boy in New York, gets caught climbing a skyscraper during his trial in court. Peak can either get arrested or go live with his dad. Peak chooses to live with his dad who wants him to climb Mount Everest. Peak and his dad get to Kathmandu “the capital of Nepal” and then, you will just have to read the book to find out.
Peak is a great book and I would recommend it to anyone who likes adventure stories. Personally, I enjoyed the parts where Peak climbed Everest and thought they were very interesting. I thought Smith wrote all of the characters very well. The theme of the book is kindness. Overall, this book is fun and engaging and I think you should give it a try.
