Review on Stargirl
I read Stargirl for my book club book. This book was written by Jerry Spinelli. Stargirl was about a girl who moved to a town. This girl was Stargirl and she didn’t care about being “normal”. And Stargirl goes through a series of events, but in the end, finds some peace. This is all from the point of view of a guy in her school. Stargirl has some problems with other students. No one talked to Stargirl.
I would recommend this book to anyone who is interested in love stories. I say this because it still has the elements of a love story but with a twist. I personally think it was an ok book. I don’t have any complaints about the book. I think Jerry Spinelli did an excellent job at changing a classical love story to a more modern-day theme. If I was given this book. I would read it. I honestly didn't think I was going to like this book I thought it was going to be like a lot of other books, but it pulls away and comes back on top really nicely. So if you are looking for a book for just entertainment this would be a good option.
