Saving Dexter
This story is about a girl going into an animal shelter and saving a dog. She walks into the shelter and knows exactly which dog is meant to be hers. The girl feels the dog’s pain immediately as she walks in. I can relate to this article because when I was little, my family saves a black lab that could not find a home. This article shows the pain of the dog, and makes the reader feel sympathy for it by describing the dog’s situation, “His brittle fur was ungroomed and his tail tucked between his legs.” Overall this was a well written article that tells the reader about a girl meeting her dog.
