A Letter To Myself
Dear Isac,
Over the semester your writing has greatly improved and I think you're doing a great job. You have really improved on your prewriting. Before you wouldn't spend much time prewriting, if any at all. But now I believe you have realized the importance of it and how much easier it makes the writing process and your work has improved because of it.
I've noticed as well you've been able to greatly improve your writing by showing instead of telling. I had never heard of this before and after Mrs. McCann told us about this method your writing has significantly gotten better. With showing instead of telling, your writing becomes much more engaging and fun to read.
One thing you could work on is using dialogue in your writing. Over the semester I hadn't noticed you using it in your writing so that would be a good place to start with enhancing your pieces. As well as using stronger verbs in your writing.
Besides that I think you've made great progress this semester and hope you keep improving your skills and enjoy writing in the future.
Sincerely, Isac
