She Tries
She’s always wrong and never gets it right;
She ruins everything she tries to do.
She’s always meek, she never wants to fight,
But somehow she has always made it through.
She does her best to be someone who’s kind
But tears herself apart along the way.
They all should see, but no one seems to mind,
But even still she’s growing everyday.
Her lips are always smiling, always strong,
To hide the fact her walls are breaking down.
No one else can know how much is wrong
Or how much she would really like to drown.
She barely finds the strength to hide her cries
And eagerly awaits the day she dies.
