Outside I see the snow.

The streets are covered with white.
Wreaths are filled with bows.
Trees are dressed with lights.

Santa leaves presents under the tree.
People are falling on ice.
They travel cross-country to ski.
I see some pumpkin pie, give me a slice.

Family comes from all over town.
They bring cookies by the case.
Laughter is the only sound.
We hang the stockings by the fireplace.

The world is full of joy and cheer.
Now we welcome a new year.
