I envy not who exists within ice,
Who lives confined by terms of seclusion.
Where burning attraction cannot entice,
As purity remains life’s delusion.

The winter cold casts doubt over thine eyes,
To thoughts of love remain steady bias.
The belief that love parallels demise:
A deception characterized as pious.

Alight he burned, my life engulfed in flames;
A boy based on the principle of fire.
A lifetime of winter he swiftly maims,
As the spring blooms blossom out of desire.

Though seasons change my love remains as true,
As snow begins I must bid you adieu.

This is awesome! The theme comes out in a beautifully subtle but clear, moving way.
