People say humans are made of stardust
I would look at myself and scoff softly
sneering and turning away in disgust.
How could a star see itself so awfully?

It wasn’t until I looked in your eyes
That I began to believe what they say
Now instead of looking up to the skies
All that I need to do is glimpse your way

Any star in the sky cannot compete
with your iridescent, radiant love
that always makes me utterly complete
and forget the sky that stretches above

With your stunning, breathtaking affection
You make the stars envy your perfection

For the record let me just say. I love this. And I'm glad someone else on here values the Shakespearian sonnet. That is 14 lines of pure perfection.
