Welfare is great, when it is used.
But, there are times when it is squandered.
Sometimes the users get a little confused.
Welfare is for the bare minimum of needs.
It should be used to buy anything that feeds.
It should not be used to feed their desires.
When people misuse it becomes the country’s problem.
They’ve got some problems, but drugs and alcohol can’t solve ‘em.
Drug tests for welfare will solve a heap.
For the druggies on welfare, their teeth won’t rot.
For the U S of A, it will help right on the spot.
