I'm no longer yours

I liked the way you held me
close to you as if to say
I'm yours.
I liked the way your eyes lit up
when you saw me walking
towards you.
I liked the way you held my hand,
so gentle and
so comforting.
You no longer hold me close but
rather i sleep miles away.
I'm no longer yours.
Your eyes look empty.
They are filled with no emotion.
I walk away from you.
My hand remains by my side,
alone and searching for one to hold
one that will never be found.
