"Each person has their own calling on this Earth." - Billy Ray Cyrus

there’s a tiny ballerina
i see her in my dreams
she often asks me to requite her
in order for helping me

i had been filled with nostalgia
trying to recall
the insanely horrible tragedy
that made me lose it all

she put me out of my misery
but yet I did not know
how much that adroit little mongrel
could make me have to owe

she tried to cajole me
into fulfilling her pedantic plans
it’s crazy how much power she has
in those tiny little hands

that ballerina is a bigot
who never seems to care
she whispers in my ear sometimes
one word: beware

for if I were to betray her
there’d be a price to pay
she’d make me stay with her
so here’s what I have to say

she’ll make it seem like she’ll enhance your life
don’t let the pain begin
she is vigilant as she watches over you
before she sucks you in

there’s a tiny ballerina
i see her in my dreams
she spins around in her perfect little box
but she is far from what she seems

This piece is from the point of view of a schizophrenic psychopath, whose most prized yet dreadful possession a music box.

Wow. This poem was fantastic. I think this was really unique, and something I've never seen before. Great Job!
