The Gravestone of a Father
She holds her eyes shut upset.
She waits for him everyday
He never shows up but yet
She loves him in every way
She carries his baby
Trying to make it through life
Always thinking maybe
Someday she’ll be his wife
She sits on the edge of the gravestone
Thinking of what could have been
Just by the voice and her tone
You can she will never be the same again
For her baby she is trying
But inside a part of her is dying
