First Love
We must be really crazy,
To think that we can last.
Although you know I hope we will,
Time apart is going fast.
Our last hug was days and weeks ago,
Our last kiss around then too.
But I don't count each day because,
It only makes me long for you.
Our last words I still remember,
They were simple, short and sweet.
"I love you," and "I love you too,"
My heart has stopped, you took it's beat.
An ocean lies between us,
And separate worlds lie straight ahead.
It's no wonder I'm not look forward,
I'd rather rewind instead.
So please just reassure me,
That you love me all the time.
And that nobody could take my place,
And that you're only mine.
Because I worry myself sick, you know,
And make more doubt than before.
But no matter what happens from here on out,
I will always love you more.
