Sonnet 52
How do I ask this question without delay
When can I do this where people won’t stare
Every time I think of this it makes me fray
They do say we should give our life to share
Can you remember this day forever
It really is the question of your life
I never want you to go, oh never
Our souls shall not part, even from death’s scythe
This question is oh so very simply
“sigh”, Why is this courage so hard to find
Feels like I’m trying to pop a pimple
Can I just get this off my mind
If you say no, I will be just fine
The question is will you always be mine
