Why do these emotions emerge with you?
Thought they died off, yet here they are again
I cannot explain, don’t know what to do
Do not worry, for they are not of pain
I feel happiness all around my world
You are the friend I need to have around
My heart seems to have quickened and have swirled
Creating and directing its own sound
My smile never seems to fade, but to grow
You’re exhausting my mind from over thinking
Your coyness, your foolish words made me go
Yet thoughts of you don’t seem to be shrinking
I’m not afraid of what future awaits
For I know we will be what fate creates
