Recycling Monotony
Recycling hours, the same clocks go clack,
That wake me right on schedule of course.
Like a train wishing to veer from its tracks.
This cowboy wants to retire his horse.
Eyes open awake, all mornings the same.
Same bed to exit, same bed to enter.
Never have a dreamt, to lead this life tame.
But to have adventure at the center.
Yet I still recycle these days, these weeks
Wandering about in a yearning daze.
Craving the very life I cannot seek,
Praying this is a monotonous faze.
Living in monotony- such a waste!
So many challenges yet to be faced.
