One Side Of Pain:
“The pain we can't bear will kill us outright.”
I must believe this obscure quotation.
Unlike a bird, I cannot cling to flight.
I must fight for my emancipation.
Can it be worth it to just stay alive,
without the knowledge of how one may live?
Is the hardest battle that to survive?
Is the meaning of life that primitive?
Pain can't be a killer one can predict,
It follows no form, a master less foe.
From what I've learned, it's how you feed it,
that will determine just how large it will grow.
Pains a stealth filled killer, stalking the night.
We can beat it, if we weed it outright.
