Nature Reflection
As I’m sitting out here, alone in the night,
I think to myself, everything will be alright.
Out here I’m free; no worries or fears.
I breathe in and wash away my sorrow and tears.
I feel as if for once I am at peace.
Even though all the pressures of life will never cease.
When I think about having to go back,
go back to a life that’s always running on track,
I feel as if time moves too fast,
and I can’t keep up with everyone else flying past.
But then I look up, at the moon and the stars
and I remember that it’s not all about the things and the cars.
Life’s about love and happiness and doing what you do.
and forgetting about everything you thought you knew.
