Laughter can be so common
no matter what the circumstance
when you learn to just laugh already,
instead of waiting for the right moment
or the right touch
or the right song
or the right person
or the righ lighting
or the right sun set
or the right words
or the right look.
Impatient for the feeling of that comotose,
you look around,
at the walls,
at the floor,
you lay yourself underneath the stars
and you wait in silence and contentment
until something whispers to your ear,
"happiness does not exist...
anywhere but within your beautiful self."

(The words tickle your ear drum,
and you start to laugh.)
