Exhale
I gained you in an inhale
I learned everything about you
Your favorite color
Your favorite foods
Your middle name
Everything there was to learn, I learned
I took in such a deep breath I started to become you
Your favorites became my favorites
Your stubbornness became my stubbornness
Your beliefs became my beliefs
But just like that
You left as quickly as you had came
And just like that
I rebuilt my beliefs
I learned to be more flexible
My favorites changed
And slowly I stopped holding my breath
Everything there was to forget, I forgot
Your middle name
Your favorite foods
Your favorite color
I forgot everything about you
I lost you in an exhale

I wrote this poem about someone who had a huge impact on my life, I changed everything about my self and obsorbed myself in them and we became one person. This person is no longer in my life, and Ive slowly had to rediscover and rebuild my personality unbased on them and it has been one of the hardest things for me to do.
