the computer buzzes, a new world loads
the green and blue pixels shine through my screen
a world like a sandbox, anything goes
my deeply loved game since twenty thirteen
cows moo in the day, creepers hiss at night
monsters beware, this is your only warning
i mine for diamonds under torch light
and smelt my iron while it is storming
diamond sword in hand, my tummy churns
ten blocks obsidian makes a portal
come to the nether, you’ll like how it burns
ghast fireballs reminds you you’re mortal

Minecraft is very dear to me, since it's what led to me and my brother growing close over quarantine and it helped to teach me resource management.
