My Lady of Fall
The colors of fall much brighter than my lady;
Her skin bleached, nothing like the autumn leaves;
Her eyes dull like the leaves making the trees shady;
Yet, her personality she achieves.
Her hair falls like the colors of the dull sky;
Her lips are not near as red as the leaves;
Her face, cold as the breeze of July;
Yet her heart, warmer than summer eves.
Her voice, harsher than the whistles of a wind begun;
Just as the seasons do, my loves moods come and go;
Her face will never glow as bright as the sun;
Yet, my love is more than she will ever know.
Unlike the seasons my love for her is never fading.
I know for sure there will be no upgrading.
