I don’t just have one or two,
I have a group of three.
They’re all my little bros,
Looking out for me.
As my brothers it's their job,
To protect me at all costs.
It's my job to protect them,
As their big sister and their boss.
We yell and we fight within ourselves,
But when someone hurts one of us,
We become a shield of protection of the one they hurt to help.
I love them as much as I trust.
Happy Raksha Bandhan thammudus!!
On this day, we pledge our sibling truce.

On the day on which Rakhi Purnima falls, a festival known as Raksha Bandhan occurs. On this day, sisters tie "Rakhi" (a bracelet that represents the tight bond siblings should have and the responsibilies they have for have for one another) to their brothers. In my situation my younger brothers or thammudus (Thammudu means brother in Telugu. Thammudus is a word I created from a mix of Telugu and English that is the plural of Thammudu). Brothers give gifts to their sisters. Anyways, on this day, I am not with two of my brothers so, I wanted to write a poem for all of my brothers. Thank you for everything little bros. Happy Raksha Bandhan to all!!
