Your Person's Eyes
Your Person's Eyes
You're supposed to fall in love with your person's eyes, everything else changes
Their hair becomes faded, their skin ages
Hearts shatter, and we shrink
Weight changes, we go through life in stages
Only the eyes grow old with us, so they know what's been done to us
Permanent imagery, that determines misery
The eyes hold a glittery mystery, all eyes have history
Only your eyes feel like electricity, and that's why I fell for our possibility
It's your eyes, that I will always see as mine
More beautiful than the sky, your bright blue eyes
Mixed with mine, until we die
The same aged eyes, that I saw yesterday
There they are today, the same eyes that took my breath away
