Favorite Quote:
“Happiness lies not in the mere possession of money; it lies in the joy of achievement, in the thrill of creative effort.”
Franklin D. Roosevelt,
32nd US president

Stuck in an abyss within my confined,
Surrounded in darkness without a light,
Meant to be alone and wanting to hide,
Not even wanting to put up a fight,

Stuck in an abyss without any aid,
Lost like I'm an inanimate object,
Falling farther down and starting to fade,
Left behind and transposed into a wreck,

Aching without anyone by my side,
Worn and forgotten like a piece of trash,
life a never-ending and frightful ride,
Obtaining an enormously red rash,

Lost in a world where no one seems to care,
Stuck sensing everyone's cold dead stare.

I wrote this piece as a way to express my feelings since I felt very alone after I had moved to a new school. Luckily I moved back to my old school so I got back with friends.
