Anniversary of an Unenviable Event
One twisted morning,
You were gone.
No more golden feeling, to keep me ecstatic.
I hadn't felt this ache before.
But I'll fight my way out of this one.
Far on the horizon you've made for me.
Not since you left has my heart slept.
If I pulled my weight you'd still be next to me.
Just what was my mistake?
This thought nests in my head.
And I see me as dead.
I wish I hadn't actually felt this
More and more love for you will rain,
Flooding my thoughts with tragic pain.
I've abandoned all hope for that bliss
My soul will forever remain restless.
Far on the horizon you've made for me.
Not since you left has my heart slept.
Oh, how far on the horizon you've made for me.
Now the clouds they come
Illuminating remembrance
I wanted to forget some
Wherever you are,
May our memories keep you warm.
This cry of despair will never reach you
I'll see you when the waves leave the sea,
Don’t forget me…
