A little Blessing
Never knew I could love so much
Not till we took those kids in
I loved them like they were my own
All the fighting was worth it, when you saw that grin
I wanted to keep them forever
Sadly I couldn’t, they had to leave
I miss them so much
It took me a long time to grieve
I hope they grow up knowing how much we loved them
I hope they go down the right path in life
Hope they do great things in the future
And they have kindness in their heart, no strife.

My family and I took in siblings that were homeless that my sister and I met in the summer camp we worked at, they are what inspired me.
