And So It Seems

And so it seems I’m bleeding
Foolish was I to discard my weapon
Foolish was I to trust the one person that made life trustable
Foolish was I to walk on a narrow through dark woods when I knew something was hiding in the shadows
And so it seems with my blood streaming down my chest soaking my once impeccable white clothes
I’m no longer innocent
And so it seems, I’ve discovered I’m not invincible
Or pure
And so it seems I’m dying
