twas the night before christmas
Twas the night before Christmas when all through the house
Not a child was outside not even a mouse
The lists were hung by the fire with care
In hopes that Mr. Santa Claus would soon be there
The children were fast asleep in their beds
While visions of new toys danced in their heads
And dad in his chair and I in my bed we
Had just heard something loud over our heads
The moment had come where we knew could Santa really be true?
I knew in a moment the wonderings to my eyes appeared
A sleigh with 8 reindeer and a white-bearded driver
dressed up in full ppe and called them by name
Now dasher now dancer now prancer and vixen on comet
On cupid on donner and blitzen
He sprung to his sleigh and out with a cheer
He sang wash your hooves wash them well now wash away all
But I heard him exclaim now is all sparkling
Clean just like the presents under the tree that
Shine with gleam
