I sit alone
in the cold,
windowless classroom.
The yellow tinted lights
press down on me
draining my creative abilities,
clogging my mind
with thoughts of walking away.
Like a hamster on a wheel, my brain
spins faster than the fan
rocking against
the brown-stained ceiling.
