Long before and Long After
These are the words we use to describe our lives. The words we use to document the lives we live. The words that describe our pain and our joy. The words that describe our triumphs and our defeats. These words surround us in our every move. Telling others we’ve been here. We have been here and now we use these words to show that.
These words are surrounding us from every angle. Coming at us from every direction. Following us on every path. These words don’t just describe us, they describe everything around us. In every move we make and every action, there are words trailing behind us. Words that mean something to others than ourselves. These words tell those others that we have been here on this earth. That we have used these words and many others to show that we have been here on this earth.
The words which surround us, document us, describe us have been there from the very start. These words were here long before us. These words will be here long after us.
