What Lies Beneath
She is so pretty,
But yet she is oh so witty.
On her shoulders rest gorgeous locks of hair,
But her mind is beyond compare.
She has a cute style,
But her thoughts go on for miles.
She is 5 foot small,
But her opinions run 10 feet tall.
In her mouth lies pearly white teeth,
But there's so much more that lies beneath.
Her eyes shine bright like the sun,
But she never fails to see the work that she has done.
She is pretty, she is brilliant
She is kind, she is resilient.
She is you.
And no one else knows the real you,
Like you do.

This is a reminder for my friends, myself, and anyone else out there who feels insecure about who they are, because you should never be afraid to show the real you.
