Today, she did not.
Yesterday, she picked my clothes
Today, I dressed myself.
Yesterday, she made my lunch
Today, I feed myself.
Yesterday, she braided my hair
Today, it goes unbrushed.
Yesterday, she said she loved me
Today, she said nothing at all.
Yesterday, she was my life
Today, she is a distant memory.
Yesterday,
She was here.
Today,
She is gone.
