Gone. Forever
All around me, the sky is falling
The clouds become a blanket, suffocating me
The warm blue sky comes down like water, leaving me drenched
Evaporation of my world, my life
Leaving me in a pit of depression and loneliness
With a sprinkle of humiliation to top it off
How do I live knowing that there is no going back?
No fixing it, only living with it for the rest of my days
I knew it was going to happen eventually
I had hope that it was going to fix itself
That it would go back to normal
But here it is, pummelling down on me
It seemed so surreal
I knew that it was all fake
My heart was racing so hard
My hands were shaking, trying to hold on
Slipping out of my reach
I gave up on chasing to hold on to it
Now here I am, pretending, faking my life
Completely numb
