OBLIVION
I rise up from that great darkness,
When I don't exist.
Not to be known by my family,
Nor by the people I love.
I'm taught to live in this puppet world,
to speak so as others understand.
To behave in my manners,
Just to be loved by the other human.
Society hauls not to exert much,
for God may bust upon any such.
Thou priest tells shall do ye' God,
Thou science presents there is no priest.
I really find it amusing when,
A boy asks me "What is me?"
I am nothing but the forbidden truth, a shadow,
Living as long as the light is.
for one day it shall go,
And I'm going to be nothing again.
Back to where I started,
I enter oblivion again.

I had a dream once that I leave mom and home in the morning for work just to discover in the evening that she is no more. Since then I've been trying my best reading articles and doing a hell lot of other stuff to know more about immortality. One such deep night I wrote this verse in the sorrow of finding nothing but the truth that the death and sorrow that is gonna come with it one day is inevitable.
