And that you actually listen to anyone
So I thought in asking you something
I asked why my life cannot be like the others
Why I cannot have a mom and a dad like every single kid I know

But as I fell asleep somehow someway you said,
“Don’t worry about it everything will be okay
Everything will get better”.

Remember when I was struggling with my grades?
You said, “You smart, You’ll get there, everything will be okay
Everything will get better”.

Or remember when I thought I was all alone, well you said,
“ You are not alone, You have people that love you, everything will be okay
Everything will get better”.

You are always there watching over me
And even though I can’t see you, I can feel you are next to me
And I know You will always be there for me in the good and bad moments,
Someday I will meet you in person and I will be there to tell you
Everything has got okay
Everything got better”.
