Slam poetry
You burned the key I gave you to my heart.
You took my soul and left it to burn in the devils eye.
I thought I knew the person in the photos, instead I see lies, hurtfulness and lost.
I scream as if anyone would hear my cry for help.
You locked me away. nothing but fear to warm me tonight.
I laugh to hide the fear and loneliness you put inside me.
The chambers you locked me in reek of only lonely and hate.
No where to go, no one to see, but my own reflection hiding in the shadows of the darkness.
